THANK YOU!
A HUGE thank you to all our wonderful volunteers!
Without you, the garden would never be as successful as it is. We appreciate any and ALL time you spare.
We cannot go without saying how much we appreciate those who have donated items and financial assistance to our garden as well. We appreciate and are humbled by the great support we have received from so many!
Garden of Eatin’ Kenosha is a veteran-owned nonprofit that raises a harvest of fresh produce to donate to local soup kitchens, pantries, and other organizations feeding hungry people in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. Created in 2013 as a class project by Andy Berg, the Original Garden has since expanded to five additional locations, including an office space—currently under renovation—and a rural orchard. The organization’s rapid growth and community outreach philosophy provides educational volunteer opportunities for schoolkids and adults alike. Neighbors are welcome to volunteer at the gardens and share in the harvest.
Garden of Eatin' is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization funded by our community's generosity.
URGENT NEED: A TRACTOR
Our Executive Director is fasting for climate justice! Part of that climate justice is getting fresh fruits and vegetables to struggling people in Kenosha's low-income neighborhoods. In order to expand our goals, we need a tractor with a tiller to break new ground. We have already raised $3,600 of the $15,000 purchase price, but we need your help! Any assistance is greatly appreciated—from us, and the children we help to feed.
BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD
